Our Mission
Reviving Africa is a Christian charity whose mission is to see Jesus become the hope of humanity by being used to demonstrate His love in the driest, darkest and impossible situations so that the restoration, renewal and revival of Africa would become a reality.
our Vision
To see the holistic transformation of entire African communities by the love of Jesus.
We Will Achieve This By:
-
Identifying Communities in Need
We meet with local government representatives and community leaders of various villages to know where the greatest needs are in an African country.
-
Researching & Understanding How to Help
We conduct a detailed Needs Based Assessment by moving into a chosen community, and spending much time sitting with the villagers and local leaders to identify what the specific needs are.
-
Establishing Ourselves
Our desire is to make a long-term impact on a community by building a Reviving Africa Community Centre where our programs and Gospel Campaigns will run to serve the people. However, we begin with setting up a large meeting tent as a temporary structure until we’re ready for building.
-
Planning
We plan for a Gospel Campaign to introduce everyone to Jesus as the greatest help and hope they can receive. Meanwhile, we use the Needs Based Assessment to develop village-specific programs with the intent of alleviating the top physical and spiritual needs. Planning is also done for projects that will help keep the programs financially self-sustained.
-
Connecting
We engage and share the vision of Reviving Africa and the Gospel Campaign with local churches. Partnerships and committees are formed with churches and church leaders to volunteer and host the Gospel Campaign, lead Discipleship Training Courses for new converts, lead Children’s Programs and help with the physical and spiritual programs.
-
Training
We train local leaders in how to make long-term disciples of Jesus who will in turn make more disciples. We also train them on how to effectively run all of our programs.
-
Implementing
Once all the planning is completed, we officially launch with the Gospel Campaign – which includes a Gospel Campaign for children – and continue with launching the programs targeting both the physical and spiritual needs.
-
Monitoring & Sustaining
As we proceed with our programs, we closely monitor, track and report on the progress and development of each beneficiaries in a way that will ensure their growth. Weekly reporting and regular on-site visits by various levels of leadership also ensures financial accountability.
