Missions Started

Reviving Africa Missions Centre

The Moving Journey to start missions has been a journey of faith. But thanks be to God that is has finally happened. 23rd November is when we finally moved to Nyenyezi.

Our first night in the newly bult was mostly spent in prayer, we realized prayer is one thing that would sustain our lives in this community.
We had neighbors come over for prayer even in our early days of our stay, which was a great source of encouragement to be welcomed in the new land this way

After few days of staying in Nyenyezi, I visited a neighborhood family of Mr. and Mrs. Chibuye and the family, after few minutes of sharing God’s word I asked them about challenges they face as a village and they said Water…. Water for drinking. After telling me about how bad the water is, i requested that they take me to the well were they draw/fetch water from. When we reached there, we found some other villagers fetching water.

It was so sad to me when I saw the kind of water they use for Drinking, Cooking, Washing etc. The well is so open and on top they have put small old dry poles were to stand when fetching water, and it is surrounded by trees. Then I realized that when the wind blows most of the leaves and small sticks falls in the well, and as a result the water is very dirt and also the sand that goes back when the water falls dawn and slides into the well.

Now the hospital (Chankute village clinic) is very far, to go there they pay K15 bus fair and walking is about 1hr. So, when they heard that we’ve come as Reviving Africa to help better the community they were very happy and greatly thanked God…. They said their prayer is that God sends people to help them put some facilities to lessen the many years of challenges with water so they can have good, clean and health water and especially a health center that would be within Nyenyezi village…

The villagers are very happy and grateful to God for bringing Reviving Africa to Nyenyezi. They saw so much hope with the presence of Reviving Africa….
