Bible Study – Wednesday, May 10, 2023

Here is a summary of our Bible study on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. We’ve seen our group grow the past few weeks and it’s been amazing and so encouraging! Thank you for all of your prayers!

Topic: Is there power in God’s word?

Question asked: Why do we need God’s Word and why study His Word?

We looked into these scripture: Ps.107:19 – Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
Ps.107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Ps.107:21 – Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 – The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 – All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Josh.1:8 – This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Josh.1.9 – Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
